Nig Records Notable Achievements In Infrastructure, Others- Nwosu

Nigeria has recorded notable achievements in the areas of Infrastructure and urban planning under the administration of President Bola Tinubu.

An APC Chieftain, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu stated this in Abuja while featuring on “Politics Today, a Kapital FM Current Affairs Programme.

According to him, the present admnistration has also enhanced the living conditions of Nigerians by boosting business opportunities through strategic developmental projects.

Ugwumba Nwosu stressed that the Ministry of Works has equally made remarkable strides in improving the nation’s infrastructure which includes completing the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, launching a national road maintenance framework, and initiating the reconstruction of the Third Mainland Bridge.

According to him, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has driven significant improvements in infrastructure and urban planning in Abuja, enhancing the living conditions for residents and boosting business opportunities through strategic developmental projects.

Ugwumba Nwosu however notes that with these Notable Achievements the Ministry of Information and National Orientation Agencies need improvement in communicating government policies and achievements to the public.

“Regular press briefings and accurate information dissemination are essential for transparency and public trust” He stated.

He explained that before now obtaining or renewing international passport takes three months but the Minister of Interior has bolstered internal security with enhancements in law enforcement, immigration reform, and the civil defense, significantly strengthening the nation’s ability to maintain order and protect its citizens.

Ugwumba Nwosu who applauded the Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo for playing a crucial role in bringing Air peace on board which has drastically slashed the air fares commended the new heights with extensive upgrades of airport infrastructure, rigorous improvements in air safety, and initiatives to boost industry growth by enhancing both the global standing and domestic efficiency of Nigeria’s aviation sector

He emphasized that the Ministry of Solid Minerals Development has effectively promoted sustainable mining and attracted significant investment, increasing the sector’s contribution to the national economy.

He commended Ministers of Finance, sports, justice, aviation, women affairs, housing, education, for various achievements recorded in their ministries and called on the Minister of Youths to brace up in formulating policies or create programmes for young Nigerians.

“The ministry of youths should prioritize transparency and public engagement, leveraging digital platforms to connect with young Nigerians and address their concerns.”Nwosu added.

Ugwumba Nwosu called for the support of Nigerians in Government’s developmental programmes.
