Wike assured the representative of JICA that the FCT Administration under his leadership is committed to giving the best to the education sector, especially in training teachers handling Mathematics and Science courses.
Wike acknowledged the robust and long standing relationship between JICA and Nigeria, and described JICA as an International Organization of reputation that keeps to its promises, judging by its antecedents of meaningful contributions in some sectors across the country.
The FCT Minister commended JICA for extending its collaboration to Abuja, and sustaining its activities in Nigeria till date in the aspects of agriculture, nutrition, water, quality education, among others,

“The activities in agriculture which particularly deals with nutrition is highly commended and the training you will be having for our mothers for the sake of our children in making sure our children have nutritious foods that will aid their health, so we want to sincerely commend you for that”.
“I am aware of JICA’s activities in Nigeria as the former Minister of State for Education, we know that JICA is not one of those International Organizations that come to make promises without fulfilling them, I have no doubt of your capacity. This Administration is willing to cooperate with you more, we would like to achieve more for our people .
“Your activities spreads all over the country and your relationship with Nigeria is quite solid, particularly when we approved in 2019, the Abuja Urban Master Plan. We on our part will do all we can to see that we fulfill our own obligations too in matching your own support.” Wike promised.
