Goronyo Commiserates With Sen Wammako Over Brother’s Death

Minister of State, Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation, Bello Muhammad Goronyo has extended his condolences to Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko’s family over the demise of his elder brother, Alhaji Liman Tambari Wamakko, at the age of 86.

This contained in a statement sigbed by the Director of information and Public Relations, Mrs Funmi Imuetinyan in Abuja.

According to the statement, Goronyo prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest, comfort and strengthen the family.

According to the statement, the deceased passed away on Sunday, April 28th, 2024 at the Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital in Sokoto State during a brief illness.

It adds that the deceased was laid to rest on April 29th, with funeral prayers led by the Chief Imam of Wamakko Central Mosque, Liman Shehu Ardo Wamakko.

The Senator reminisced about their family, noting that although there were eleven members, including the late Liman Tambari, only three of them remained, ” He emphasizes.

According to the statement the funeral was attended by various dignitaries including Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, Sokoto State Governor Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, Speaker of the Sokoto State House of Assembly Tukur Bala Bodinga, and secretary to the state government Muhammadu Bello Sifawa.

Others were the former Minister of Police Affairs Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi, former Nigerian Ambassador to the Republic of Tanzania, Sahabi Isah Gada, members of the Sokoto State House of Assembly, members of the State Executive Council, Special Advisers, Galadiman Garin Sokoto, Alhaji Aliyu Attahiru Galadanci, traditional rulers, politicians, Ulamas, and many other important personalities from within and outside Sokoto State.
