APC To Uphold Internal Democracy In Conducting Primary Elections

The National Working Committee of the All Progressive Congress, APC, has promised to Uphold internal democracy in the conduct of primary elections.

National Chairman of the party, Alhaji Umar Ganduje made this known in Abuja while inaugurating the Ondo state governship primary election and appeal Committees.

Alhaji Ganduje appealed to the committees to cooperate with APC members in the state to ensure that only a credible candidate that will win the election for the party is elected.

The APC National Chairman assured the Committees of adquate security and urged ttom not to be biased in discharging their duties.

Speaking on behalf of the Committees, the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Usman Ododo who is the chairman of the primary election committee said they would do everything possible to elect the best candidate out of the 16 aspirants .

Governor Ododo who was represented by the State Deputy Governor, Mr Joel Oyobo thanked the party for finding Ododo worthy to perform this crucial assignment.

The committees for the Ondo state governship primary have five members each.
