FRSC To Prosecute Drivers Involved In Obajana Market Multiple Accident

Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Dauda Ali-Biu has directed the Kogi State Command to commence investigation that will lead to prosecution of all drivers involved in an accident on Easter Sunday at the Obajana Market.

Report says scores of Road users were killed as a result of a multiple road accident that involved Four vehicles, comprising two Dangote Trucks one Sharon bus and one motor bike.

According to the report, the brake of one of theTrucks failed while on speed and crashed into three stationery vehicles including a bus carrying 12 passengers.

The FRSC Corps Marshal maintained that the drivers involved would be prosecuted in accordance with the national Road traffic regulations 2012 while those found guilty would bear consequences of their actions.

Dauda Ali-Biu assured that the Corps would continue to engage stakeholders for effective traffic management in the country.
