The Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church Garki Abuja, Reverend Tom Takpatore, says the.power of resurrection can revitalize the nation’s economy and bring an end to the challenges in the country.
Reverend Tom Takpatore, who gave the assurance during an Easter Sunday Thanksgiving Service, said the resurrection of Jesus Christ brought joy, victory, and hope to humanity.
While reminding the congregation of the need to live a holy life and forsake sinful acts, Reverend Takpatore also urged them to always show love to their neighbors and hold on to Jesus Christ, who sacrificed His life for the salvation of mankind.
The Women leader, Mrs. Salamatu Bitrus, expressed optimism that the resurrection of Jesus Christ would bring back peace to families that are currently experiencing challenges.
Mrs Bitrus passionately appealed to women to emulate the endurance exhibited by Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary and give their best for peace and growth of their homes.
According to her, the economic situation is challenging but women must monitor the activities of their children beyond the school for them to be responsible citizens in future.
On his part, Pastor Elijah Ogunsanya called on Christians to use this year’s Easter celebration to renew their faith in God and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all nooks and crannies of the society.
Pastor Ogunsanya reminded Christains that their main assignment in life is to bring back the lost souls to Christ
