Super Eagles Striker Victor Osimhen has been ruled out of Nigeria’s upcoming friendlies against Black Stars of Ghana and Eagles of Mali.
Osimhen was an unused substitute in Napoli’s 1-1 draw against Serie A leaders Inter Milan on Sunday.
The African Best player barely trained in the days before the game.
Caretaker manager, Francesco Calzona said after the game that it was due to an inflammation of the scar from an old injury.

Napoli omitted 25-year-old from their international duty list due to his ongoing recovery from an injury.
Osimhen will now have to continue his recovery at the Castel Volturno for at least two weeks to regain his full fitness.
Super Eagles will take on Ghana at the Grand de Stade Marrakech on Friday, March 22.
The three-time African champions will face Mali four days later at the same venue.
