The Ministry of Defence has vehemently condemned the heinous attack on military personnel during a peacekeeping mission in Okuama Community, Delta State.
According to a statement by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Henshaw Ogubike, Minister of Defence Badaru Abubakar and Minister of State, Bello Matawalle expressed profound sorrow over the grave incident.
The Ministers emphasized the bravery and sacrifice of the fallen servicemen and women, underscoring their dedication to the nation’s defence and security.
They assured Nigerians of relentless efforts to bring the culprits to justice, in line with President Tinubu’s agenda for national renewal.
While affirming their commitment to safeguarding the security and well-being of all Nigerians, they emphasized the government’s unwavering support for the armed forces and their tireless efforts to ensure national security.
