The Executive Chairman, Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC, Christopher Maikalangu has restated commitment towards the reconstruction of LEA Primary School in Bagusa Community.
The AMAC Boss made the call during an assessment tour of the school which lacks basic infrastructure and facilities.
The Council Boss who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Emeka Orji, led other officials of the council and team of engineers to the site, explaining that the project is long overdue hence, the council has concluded plans to reconstruct the dilapidated primary school in phases.
He added that there was urgent need for temporary construction to enable the pupils commence their up coming examinations this week.
He however assured that his administration will continue to pay more attention in the area of education and other programmes that will make life more meaningful to residents of the Council.

On his part the village head of Bagusa Community, Chief Zakka Iyah thanked the Chairman for the quick intervention to meet the yearnings and aspirations of the pupils and residents of the community.
The Community Chief stressed that it was the first time a Council Chairman has come to their aid, hence the pupils will forever be grateful to him because he did what other chairmen could not do for them in time past.
Also the Supervisory Councillor, Works, Dantani Zadna said that AMAC engineers were already on the site to ensure that the directive of the chairman is carried out immediately.
