Kwali Area Council Reiterates Support For Women

Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory has called for continuous support for women towards enhancing development in the area.

Chairman of the Council, Mr Danladi Chiya made the call at a forum to celebrate this year’s International Women’s Day in Kwali, Abuja.

The Chairman who was represented by his Deputy, Alhaji Yakubu Mohammed assured women of the Council’s commitment to programmes towards making them self reliant.

Earlier, a Women Leader, Mrs Dorcas Idowu solicited the support of the Council in the area of women empowerment.

Mrs Idowu advised women to always contribute their quota to the progress of the area.
