Super Eagles head coach José Peseiro has promised his team will make the most of the chances they create so that they beat hosts Cote d’Ivoire to get their Africa Cup Of Nation, AFCON campaign back on track after a disappointing draw with Equatorial Guinea.
Peseiro confirmed this on Wednesday at the team’s news conference ahead of Nigeria’s second match at the ongoing African Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
According to the gaffer, Royal Antwerp FC defensive midfielder will only be in contention in the third match against Guinea Bissau.
The midfielder was substituted due to injury on Sunday during Super Eagles’ game against Equatorial Guinea which ended 1-1.

Peseiro also revealed that Leicester City of England playmaker, Kelechi Iheanacho, was close to playing, while Terem Moffi, OC Nice FC of France striker, was catching up with the rest of the squad as expected.
Captain Max Alain Gradel, who has 105 caps and was part of the Elephants’s squad that won the trophy in Equatorial Guinea in 2015, was also confident of victory tomorrow.
Super Eagles will look to bounce back from their draw when they are hosted by the Elephants.
A win form the three time African Champions put them back in the race for a fourth title.
