In a resolute move to enhance peace, security, and boost revenue generation in Nigeria, the Military High Command has expressed its unwavering commitment to ensuring the enduring defeat of terrorists and criminal elements across the country.

The Director, Defence Media Operations,
Major General Edward Buba, stated this while addressing the media on the troops’ activities in various operational theatres nationwide over the past week.

Highlighting significant achievements in the ongoing military operations, General Buba outlined successful efforts aimed at eradicating terrorism and upholding national security.

According to him the past week’s operations primarily involved precision strikes on terrorist enclaves, deploying substantial military power and air attacks to eliminate their presence.

General Buba emphasized the positive outcomes resulting from these operations, demonstrating the effectiveness of the Armed Forces’ strategies.

Additionally, the Director noted the pivotal role of Operation Delta Safe troops in the South-South zone, contributing to the creation of an enabling environment for economic activities which in turn, has positively impacted the nation’s revenue generation.

While stressing the collective responsibility in addressing insecurity, General Buba urged residents to recognise their role in combating this menace.

He reiterated the Armed Forces’ unyielding commitment to relentlessly pursue and apprehend criminals, underlining the significance of a united effort in maintaining national security and prosperity.

The Director maintained that the Armed Forces remains steadfast in their mission to eradicate terrorism, bolster security, and foster an environment conducive for economic growth.
