Akeredolu’s Death A Colossal Loss -AGF

The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abdulateef Fagbemi has described the death of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State as a colossal loss to the country, the legal world and civil society organisations.

This is contained in a statement in Abuja, by the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice.

According to the statement the AGF, says he is saddened by Akeredolu’s death describing him as a patriot, a goal-getter and legal luminary who served his state well and the entire country.

It states that his days as the president of the Nigerian Bar Association, brought immense growth to the bar and the Nigerian judiciary.

It however emphasises that he will be sorely missed by the NBA, Body of Benchers, Body of Senior Advocates of Nigeria, Nigeria Governors Forum and Southern Governors Forum.

The statement extends his condolences to the family, the government and people of Ondo State, and the entire nation.
