Tinubu Seeks Confirmation Of 11 Supreme Court Justices

President Bola Tinubu has requested confirmation of appointment of eleven Justices of the Supreme Court.

His request is contained in a letter addressed to President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio and read during sitting in Abuja.

Tinubu in the letter said the request was in
Accordance with sections 231 Sub section two of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as Amended.

Tinubu listed the Justices nominated for confirmation and subsequent appointment to include Justices Jummai Hannatu Sankey, Stephen Jonah Adah, Mohammed Baba Idris and Haruna Simon Tsammani.

Others are :Jamilu Yammama Tukur, Abubakar Sadiq Umar, Chidiebere Nwaoma Uwa, Chioma Egondu Nwosu-Iheme, Obande Festus Ogbuinya, Moore Aseimo A. Adumein, and Habeeb Adewale O. Abiru.
