Primate Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, Most Reverend Henry Ndukuba has called on Nigerians not to allow the present challenges affect their love for their neighbors and the country.
Archbishop Henry Ndukuba who made the call during the Abuja Diocesan annual program, Abuja Carnival with the theme: In the Day of His Power said the country.needed prayers and love to overcome the present challenges.
The Primate explained that though things are very difficult Christians must hold on to God and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to the downtrodden in the society.
He maintained that the church in Abuja would continue to embark on rural evangelism to complement its women and Youth empowerment programs.
Archbishop Henry Naukuba said that the carnival was to give glory to God for preserving the diocese and mission of the church.
He congratulated the clergy and all the laity of the diocese of Abuja, praying God to keep all Nigerians into the new year.
The Anglican Bishop of the Niger Delta, and Guest Preacher, Right Reverend Emmanuel Koko-Jaja said God will restore the lost glory of Nigeria which is a special project in the hand of God.
Bishop Koko-Jaja charged Nigerians to serve God in righteousness, holiness and in truth knowing that God will fight visible and invisible battles.
“In this confusing moment, God will show His greatness because this is the day of His power, Nigerians should not lose hope as God has done it before and He will do it again.
Special prayers were offered for Divine intervention in the affairs of the country.
