NSCDC, NIS, CoS, Fire Service Board Promotes 32,361 Personnel

The Civil Defence, Immigration, Correctional, and Fire Service Board has approved the promotion of thirty-two thousand three hundred and sixty-one personnel of the services under the Ministry of Interior.

While reading out the reports after the Board’s meeting, the Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi said the list was approved at the Board’s fifth meeting for the year twenty twenty-three with the Minister of Interior, Dr Olubumi Tunji-Ojo.

According to him, thousand six hundred and eighty personnel were promoted against thousand six hundred and ninety-eight that sat for promotion in the Federal fire service.

He also said that a total of four thousand four hundred and ninety-eight staff were promoted out of over seven thousand that sat for promotion in the Correctional service.

Dr. Audi stated that a total of twenty-five thousand nine hundred and twenty-one sat for promotion exams in the Civil Defence but twenty-one thousand three hundred and fifty-five personnel were promoted.

 

He noted that out of six thousand five hundred and forty-four personnel that sat for promotion exams four thousand five hundred and ninninety-eightrsonnel scaled through in the Nigeria Immigration Service.

Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi thanked the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his support to the Board and also commended the Minister, Dr Olubumi Tunji-Ojo for the strategies he adopted to ensure that the promotion was approved.

He called on the  promoted personnel to put in their best stressing that to whom much is given much is expected.
