Wike Orders Construction Of Classroom Block At LEA Bagusa

Pupils of LEA Primary School, Bugusa, Dei Dei i n the FCT are happy as they have been assured of a modern Class room block that will be constructed for effective learning and teaching in the school.

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory,Mr Nyesom Wike who ordered for the construction of the block during an assessment of the state of the school also warned against encroaching on the school land.

Represented by the Mandate Secretary for Education, Dr Danlami Hayyo who was sad over the poor state of facilities at the school also directed for the completion of a classroom block that was started by the community.

The Minister who said he decided to visit the school due to a report in the media on the poor state of facilities in the school frowned that most Pupils received tutorials while sitting on the floor.

He promised that the school which had no fence will be given a face lift.

The FCT minister also directed the construction of an additional block of four classrooms for the commencement of a Junior Secondary School.

Head Teacher of the school, Chebawaza Katungu commended the government for visiting the school and promised to secure the facilities of the school.

Chief of Bagusa village, Zakka Iyah also thanked the Minister for his intervention.
