Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mr Nyesom Wike has restated the commitment of his administration to ensure the completion of some major road projects undertaken by past administrations by May next year.
Mr Wike stated this while inspecting the six point seven kilometer Outer Southern Park Area, the Northern Expressway stage one and a six lane road in Jahi District, all in the nation’s capital city.
The Minister said his administration was committed to the completion of the roads because of the economic benefits it would bring to residents and commuters plying the roads.
Mr Wike explained that the roads would also ease transportation and beautify the nation’s capital.
He charged the contractors to keep to the agreement of completing the projects by May next year as the roads would form part of projects to be inaugurated by the administration as it marks its first year in office.
Speaking to some residents of the area in pidgin who came out to welcome him, the Minister assured them that the Government of President Bola Tinubu was working tirelessly to bring the dividends of democracy to their doorsteps.

One of the contractors told the minister that most of the work on the road had been completed.
The Contractor commended Government for funding the projects and assured that work will be completed on schedule.
