Investigate Land Swap, Sale Of Govt Houses – Wike

Taskforce for Issuance of Certificate of Occupancy, C of O in the FCT has been directed to investigate issues concerning Land Swap and sale of Federal Government houses under the purview of the Federal Capital Development Authority, FCDA.

Minister of FCT, Mr Nyesom Wike who gave the directive at a ceremony in Abuja advised the Task Force to take its assignment seriously.

He also mandated the Michael Chinda led Committee to review the documentation and receipts of payment for the sale of Federal Government Houses under the FCDA.

Mr Wike who stated that it was necessary for his Ministry to fully understand the state of the property equally directed the Committee to investigate if the buildings were abandoned.

Mr Wike who assured the Committee of his support to ensure it completes its mandate successfully extended the time frame for the completion of the assignment by a month.
