FCTA Tasks Staff On Hardwork As 31 Directors Retire

Thirty one Directors who retired from the service of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA and the Federal Capital Development Authority, FCDA have been commended for their dedication to duty while in service.

The Minister of State, Federal Capital Territory Administration, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, who stated this during an event to celebrate the retired Directors called on staff of the Ministry to emulate the retirees.

According to her, the Directors will be missed for the mark they left on the Administration of the Nation’s Capital Territory.

The Minister who prayed for the health and well-being of the Retired Directors assured that the FCT Administration would continue to tap from their wealth of experience from time to time.

Permanent Secretary, FCTA Mr. Olusade Adesola, commended the Retirees for bowing out of service unblemished.

Mr. Adesola charged those in service to be hardworking and continue in the delivery of excellent service to the public.

Acting Director Reform Coordination and Service Improvement, Dr. Jumai Ahmadu, who spoke on behalf of the planning committee noted that the retired Directors devoted themselves to upholding the values and mission of the Administration throughout their careers.

Highpoint of the event was the presentation of gifts to the Retired directors by the FCT Minister of State.
