The Federal Capital Territory Administration says it is willing to partner Embassy of the United Arab Emirates, UAE to develop the tourism potential of the Territory.
Minister of the FCT, Mr Nyesom Wike stated this when the Ambassador of the UAE to Nigeria, Mr Salem Saeed Al Shamsi, paid him a courtesy call in his office.
Mr. Wike who described the United Arab Emirates as a tourist haven said the Federal Capital Territory and the UAE had a lot to learn and gain from each other in tourism and other areas of development.
Mr Wike who stated that the Government of President Bola Tinubu was focused on working towards making Nigeria great called on the UAE to resolve all pending issues concerning granting of visas to Nigerians seeking to visit the Arab Country for business and pleasure.
The Minister invited the Government and People of the UAE to invest in Nigeria as investors now have confidence in the country.

UAE Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Salem Saeed Al Shamsi assured that his country would work with the FCTA in several areas to develop Nigeria’s capital city.
He told the Minister of FCT that he was confident that visa issues concerning his country and Nigeria would soon be resolved.
Mr. Al Shamsi commended the Government for its efforts in developing Abuja.
He said his country was excited to host President Tinubu and the Nigerian delegation later in the month at the COP 28 meeting.
