FRCN New DG Assumes Office Today

The Director General of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, Dr. Mohammed Bulama today assumed duty.

Dr. Bulama replaced the longest-serving Director General of the Corporation, Dr. Mansur Liman following his appointment by President Bola Tinubu.

Addressing management staff and members of the Corporation’s in-house union who were on the ground to welcome him in Radio House, Garki Abuja, the new Director General of FRCN, Dr Mohammed Bulama expressed his readiness to foster a supportive and nurturing environment where every member of staff can thrive.

Dr. Bulama promised to implement strategic initiatives that would elevate the Corporation to new heights by fostering innovation, embracing technological advancements,
and promoting collaboration towards enhancing the overall performance and impact of FRCN.

The new Director General therefore urged the staff of the Corporation to be professionals as well as embrace innovation, and collaborate effectively for excellence in their respective roles.

He equally encouraged them to be proactive in adapting to the changing media landscape and to continuously enhance their skills.

Dr Bulama expressed his commitment to prioritizing the welfare of the staff of the corporation by creating a supportive and nurturing environment where everyone can thrive

Earlier, the former Director General of FRCN, Dr Mansur Liman urged the new Director General to continue the positive momentum in the new media sector as that is the new future of broadcast

Dr Liman called for the support of all staff to enable the new Director General to succeed in his developmental programmes for FRCN
