NPOWER: Beneficiaries To Get Outstanding Stipends Soon- FG

The Federal Government says it is ready to commence the payment of backlogs to Npower beneficiaries who are on the programme.

A statement by National Communication Manager of the programme Mr Jamaluddeen Kabir says the main reason for the temporary suspension of the programme was to address all issues that directly affect the beneficiaries to restructure and carry out a forensic audit of the programme.

The statement adds that plans have been put in place by the programme to commence the disbursement of the 9 months’ outstanding stipends to beneficiaries from next month.
