Tinubu Replaces El – Rufai With Balarabe Lawal As Ministerial Nominee

President Bola Tinubu has replaced the ministerial nomination of Mallam Nasir El-Rufai from Kaduna State with Balarabe Abbas Lawal.nThe nomination of Balarabe Lawal as nominee from Kaduna State by President Tinubu , was read during plenary by President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio in a communication forwarded to that effect.

President Tinubu in the communication, also formally requested the Senate to confirm nomination of Doctor Jamila Bio Ibrahim from Kwara State and Mr Ayodele Olawande from Ondo State as Ministers.

The Senate had in August after screening of the first 48 ministerial nominees forwarded to by President Tinubu , confirmed 45 and withheld confirmation of three.
