Kaduna : Seven Killed, Nine Injured In Zangon Kataf

Gunmen suspected to be bandits have attacked Takanai Gora community in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killing six residents while six others were injured.

The Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Chairman of Zangon Kataf, Yabo Chris Ephraim, in a statement, said the six killed were buried on Wednesday morning in the presence of the Local Government Chairman, Francis Sani

According to the statement, the chairman who condemned the attack, appealed to the community for calm and emphasised that they should shun the needless path of violence.

Those killed, according to the statement are Sarah Adamu, Rejoice Adamu, Enoch Adamu, Juan Aminu, Salomi Aminu, and Meshak Aminu, while those injured were Kubai Adamu, Judith Adamu, Abigail Adamu, Dennis Joseph, Grace Bitrus and Adamu Ibrahim.
