Eid-el-Maulud: NSCDC Felicitates With Muslims

The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi has extended felicitation to all Muslims in the country and beyond on this year’s occasion of Eid- el-Maulud celebration.

In a statement by the Corp’s Public Relations Officer, Afolabi Babawale the CG also called on Muslims and members of the general public to embrace and practice peace as exemplified by Prophet Mohammed.

The Commandant General who expressed dismay over the spate of insecurity bedeviling the country called on the citizenry to continue to support the government’s peace efforts by collaborating with state actors in tackling the menace.

The NSCDC Boss decried the worrisome incidences of banditry activities, kidnapping, abduction, and other criminal acts despite measures put in place and admonished the public to keep faith with the agencies saddled with the responsibilities of ensuring law and order, assuring that the ugly situation must be confronted.

He reiterated the determination of the Corps in the protection of critical national assets and Infrastructure and its resolve in the protection of lives and property as it works in synergy with sister agencies with the collaboration of all Nigerians.
