AMAC Chairman Inspects Projects Across Communities

The Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC, has restated its commitment towards providing basic infrastructure for residents in the area.

The Chairman of the Council, Mr Christopher Maikalangu, made this known while inspecting projects by his administration in different communities in AMAC.

In the course of the tour, the Chairman, Mr
Christopher Maikalangu,
inspected the intallation of a 500KVA transformer and a 500 Metre road in Kugbo community.

From Kugbo, Maikalangu made a stop over at Jikwoyi community, where he inspected the ongoing construction of a 945 metre road in Jikwoyi Phase 1 and a 10,000 litre overhead tank solar borehole project in Angwan Gade, Jikwoyi.

The Chairman then proceeded to check the rehabilitation work on the Orozo – Jikwoyi access roads, installation of 500 KVA transformer in Karu community and rehabilitation of the Gwagwalape access road.

The AMAC Boss also inspected the construction of a 2.15km road project in Kpeyegyi community amongst other projects in different rural communities.

Speaking with newsmen the Chairman said the road projects would be completed within 3 weeks.

In a reaction, the Etsu of Jikwoyi Rev Jetta Bawa commended the chairman for the kind gesture in keeping to his campaign promises in the interest of all residents.

He added that the infrastructural development in the various communities under the Council was a landmark achievement and promised to protect the infrastructure.
