FCT : RCCG Puts Smiles On Faces Of Less Privileged

Background

Well meaning Individuals and Religious organizations have been urged to always assist the less privileged in the society.

The Assistant General Overseer, Redeemed Christain Church of God, Pastor Ezekiel Odeyemi stated this while presenting School uniforms and learning materials to Over Two Hundred and Fifty Primary school pupils at Chibiri village in Kuje area council of FCT.

Pastor Ezekiel Odeyemi who was Represented by the Director of Finance, Northern Region of the Church Pastor Temitope Oyeleye, said the gesture would assist to promote peace and reduce poverty level in the country.

The Redeemed Christain Church of God Assistant General Overseer said the conference of accountants of the church has made it an annual event to help widows, people with disabilities and out of school children to support government efforts at ameliorating the plight of the down trodden and reduce number of out of school children in the country.

According to Pastor Ezekiel Odeyemi, the same events was going on in all the regions of the church across the country.

At the Kuje General hospital where toiletries and financial support was presented to some patients, Pastor Sam Adeyemi appealed to the federal government to pay special attention to the people at the grassroots.

He said the visit to the Kuje General Hospital was to assist and pay off bills of some patients who found it difficult to meet the expenses.

Pastor Adeyemi maintained that the Church would continue to extend its corporate social responsibilities to Christains and non Christains for peace to reign in every part of the country.

In a remark, the Secretary Kuje General Hospital, Mrs Abiola Olugbusi commended the Redeemed Christain Church of God for always associating with the less privileged particularly with the current economic situation that is bitting hard on citizens.

Mrs Olugbusi pledged that the toiletries would be used judiciously for the patients.
