CDS Harps On Unity, Harmony For National Growth

The Chief of Defence Staff, CDS, General Christopher Musa has identified unity and harmony as a catalyst for national growth.

Brigadier General
Tukur Gusau in Abuja.

According to the statement, the CDS who stated this when he paid a visit to the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN Headquarters in Abuja, appreciates CAN for its prayers and support to the Armed Forces of Nigeria.

He also reiterates the commitment of the Armed Forces towards supporting the nation’s democracy.

The CDS who further emphasises the need for unity as key to national growth said our differences should enhance national development rather than division.

General Musa adds that the business of securing the nation was a collective effort, as no one can do it alone.

The statement notes that the CAN President, His Eminence, Most Reverend, Daniel Okoh while thanking the CDS for the visit, assures him of CAN’s continuous support to the Armed Forces to be enable it deliver on its constitutional responsibilities.

The CAN President applauds the CDS for being the first to visit and also commended him and the Armed Forces for securing the nation.
