SHE Forum Africa Advocates Women Inclusion In Governance

The SHE Forum Africa Foundation has called for strategic involvement of women in Governance to boost women’s economic advancement in the Country.

The Founder of the Organisation Ms Inimfon Etuk made the call at the tenth anniversary of the foundation in Abuja.

Ms Etuk said the foundation’s aim was geared towards amplifying personal development opportunities for women and girls through strategic mentoring.

She explained that the foundation also held annual meetings inorder to proffer solutions to challenges faced by women.

In a remark the United Nations Resident Coordinator, Nigeria to ECOWAS, Mr Mathias Schmale stressed the need for women empowerment and gender equality to strengthen women representation in leadership positions.

On his part, Senator Dino Melaye appreciated the efforts of the organisation and their unique role in providing capacity building tools for women and girls to enable them achieve
sustainable livelihood.

The theme for the event is “challenge your limit.”
