Monaco have completed the £35m signing of US striker Folarin Balogun from Arsenal on a five-year deal.
The 22-year-old forward returns to France after scoring 22 goals on loan at Reims last season.
Balogun had not featured for Arsenal in the Premier League at the start of this season despite first-choice striker Gabriel Jesus being out injured.
He signed professional terms with Arsenal at 17 and made two top-flight appearances in his time with the club.
Balogun had loan spells at Middlesbrough and Reims, and was linked with Chelsea and Inter Milan before Arsenal accepted Monaco’s offer.
Manchester City have reached a formal agreement with Wolves to sign midfielder Matheus Nunes for £53m.
City had a previous bid for the Portugal international rejected last week.
Wolves were holding out for a fee closer to their asking price of over £60m.
There deal includes a 10% sell-on clause for Wolves from any profit City make on the 25-year-old in future.
Nunes has now been cleared to have a medical in Manchester.
Spanish forward Ansu Fati is set to complete a surprise season-long loan move to Brighton from Barcelona.
Fati has fallen down the pecking order at Barcelona.

Brighton’s deal for the 20-year-old does not include an obligation to buy.
Tottenham had also been linked with Fati but he is understood to have been impressed by Brighton’s style of play under manager Roberto de Zerbi.
De Zerbi side will be playing Europa League football this season.
Dean Henderson has completed his transfer from Manchester United to Crystal Palace.
26 year old Henderson joined Palace for £20 million plus add-ons.
United are also expected to confirm the €5m (£4.3m) arrival of goalie Altay Bayindir from Fenerbahce in due course.
Henderson joined the United academy at the age of 14 in 2011 and he enjoyed progressive loan spells at Stockport County, Grimsby Town, Shrewsbury Town and Sheffield United before making his United debut in September 2020.
