Birth Registration : NOA To Partner NPC For Proper Sensitization

Parents have been advised to take advantage of the free birth certificate being issued by the National Population Commission, NPC, in collaboration with the United Nations Children’s Fund, UNICEF.

The Director, National Population Commission Federal Capital Territory, Alhaji Zakari Suleiman gave the advice in Pai, Kwali Area Council of the FCT during a sensitisation campaign.

The Director said the advise became necessary to ensure proper documentation for the future.

On her part, the Acting Director, National Orientation Agency, NOA, Mrs Ijeoma Agbanusi said the Agency is collaborating with the Nigeria Population Commission to mobilize Nigerians on the Importance of the registration.

In a remark, the Sarkin Pai, Alhaji Abubakar Sani promised to sensitize his people on the essence of the exercise.
