“We are trying to see how we can map out strategies. We went on inspection to see certain projects that were awarded before us, and they have been abandoned, probably due to one reason or the other.
“Now, time has come for action .we are determined to do direct supervision and ensure that contractors go back to site. Not just going back to site, but with direct supervision from my office and that of the Minister of state. The major problem in the past is lack of supervision. If anyone compromises standard, too bad” Wike warned.
The FCT Minister further said the FCT Administration under his leadership would focus on specific projects at a particular time to ensure that any project started is completed before commencing a new project.
He however warned contractors to deliver their projects within the stipulated time frame.
” I hate delayed projects.Because when you are on site, there will be job creation for the people”.
