APC Caucus Condemns Appointment Of National Officer Representing Abia

The Abia State APC Caucus and Stakeholders have condemned the recent appointment of a National officer of the party.

A former member, House of Representatives from Abia state, Chief Stanley Ohajuruka, made the position of the group known while briefing newsmen in Abuja.

He explained that the National leadership of the party failed to consult APC Stakeholders from Abia state before the replacement of their position at the national level of the party after the death of Chief Friday Nwosu some months ago.

“The action of the National working committee in replacing the national welfare secretary position zoned to the state without consultations was unfair and unacceptable” he added.

He therefore called on the national leadership of the party to look into their complains and have a rethink by allowing members of the party to choose a can’tdidate to represent them at the national working committee level.

“the manner at which some unpatriotic members of the party in the state have continued to destrupt the unity, peace and progress of the party in Abia state is worrisome”.

According to him, the group pledged their unalloyed support to President Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s administration in efforts to revamp the economy.
