New Supreme Court Justice To Be Sworn In

 President Goodluck Jonathan has  approved the appointment of Justice Amiru Sanusi as a Justice of the Supreme Court.

Justice Sanusi’s elevation followed the recommendation of the National Judicial Council (NJC) to the president as the constitution requires.

According to a press statement, by the Acting ‎Director of Information at the NJC, Mr. Soji Oye, the new apex court Justice will be sworn in on Thursday by the Chief Justice of Nigeria and Chairman of the‎ NJC, Justice Mahmud Mohammed.

Speaking on the president recently, former Minister of Police Affairs, Broderick Bozimo, has described the outgoing president as a hero saying Nigerian’s will value the outgoing president later for his love and sacrifice for the country.
