New Executive Of Radio Nig Abuja Cooperative Society Emerge

Gimba Yohanna has emerged President of the Radio Nigeria Abuja, Staff Multipurpose Co-operative Society, to pilot the affairs of the Co-operative for the next two years.

Mr Yohanna polled a total of one hundred and eighty three votes to defeat his closest rival Mallam Oseni Suleiman who scored one hundred and thirty nine votes.

Mrs Manko Nden emerged as the Secretary of the Co-operative Society having polled a total of one hundred and fifty six votes to defeat her closest rival, Mr. Ijanmi Goodluck who got one hundred and thirty one votes.

Also, Mrs Toluwani Oluwakemi emerged as the Treasurer having polled two hundred votes to defeat her closest Contestant Mr,Ayanwu Wisdom who scored one hundred and twenty votes.

The Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Mallam Isa Shuaibu thanked the contestants and members of staff for their conduct during the exercise.

In a remark, the President elect, Gimba Yohanna who spoke on behalf of the new executive thanked God for the victory and promised to run an open door administration for the interest of all members of the Cooperative.

Some members of staff also described the election as peaceful and transparent.
