JUSUN Strike: Strike portends Great Danger For Nation’s Democracy – Solicitor

The government at all levels has been urged to grant the demand for financial autonomy by the Judiciary to end its ongoing strike.

Solicitor of the Supreme Court, Chukwudi Ezeobika made the call while featuring on “Politics Today” a Kapital FM Current Affairs Programme in Abuja.

Mr Ezeobika urged state governments to support the ideas to avoid the multiple effects of the current strike action by the Judiciary staff union of Nigeria, JUSUN.

He commended the Federal government for steps taking so far towards resolving the lingering strike.

The Solicitor of the Supreme Court who explained that the strike was triggered by the state governments who uttered the agreement reached by the Federal government

He therefore stressed that this is time for all concerned to make sure this particular issue is resolved once and for all.

Mr. Ezeobika who described the strike action by JUSUN as unfortunate said it portend great danger for the nation democracy.

He added that the Judiciary staff union strike has shut down the nation system noting that nothing is working presently in the country.

Mr. Ezeobika therefore called on both the Federal government and JUSUN to come to a concession that will put an end to the industrial action for the growth of democracy in Nigeria.
