Israel, Nigeria To Strengthen Ties

Israeli Ambassador to Nigeria, Michael Freeman has expressed gratitude to the Nigerian government and people for their steadfast support to Israel.

Speaking at the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria’s biennial conference, in Abuja, Ambassador Freeman expressed optimism about the prospects of Israel and Nigeria’s relations.

He noted that both countries are set to expand joint initiatives, create new opportunities, and further strengthen ties for the benefit of future generations.

“I want to thank you for your prayers and support for Israel. Thank you for all you do for us. Sometimes it is not easy to support or stand by Israel” he added.

“I want to encourage you to come to Israel. As I speak now, Nigerians are working in Israel, and Nigerian pilgrims are in Israel. When you visit Israel, you will see what the country has to offer” Ambassador Freeman stressed.

On her part, the Interim National Coordinator for Christians United For Israel Prayer Outreach Nigeria, Evangelist Mati Acka commended the Israeli Ambassador for acknowledging and appreciating the support of the Christian community in Nigeria for the state of Israel.

She also appreciated Israel’s gesture towards the body of Christ and the nation at large to foster unity and progress in the various key areas of advancement.

“I use this medium to also applaud the Executive Secretary of the Christian United for Nigeria Prayer outreach, Rev. Samson Ozovehe for his input in the Israelis ambassador diplomatic representation of the state of Israel at the pentecostal fellowship of Nigeria bennial conference.

Evangelist Acka called on the entire body of Christ in Nigeria to synergize with CUFI to forge a formidable front line in the support of the state of Israel in accordance with scriptural injunctions.
