As part of its commitment to create employment and build capacity of young people, the Federal Capital Territory Administration is to collaborate with a private firm on skills acquisition in automobile and Tourism.
Minister of FCT, Mr Nyesom Wike stated this when a delegation from the firm led by its Chairman, Mr. Jung Won-Ju paid him a visit in his office.
Mr Wike explained that the FCT Administration is business minded hence he encouraged the Chairman of the firm to show commitment in investing in Abuja.
The Minister assured that he will engage the country office of the firm to ensure that steps are taken to sign a Memorandum of Understanding before the year runs out.
Chairman of the firm, Mr Jung Won-Ju explained that he has identified areas of investment in Nigeria and assured that as part of efforts to diversify the investment portfolio of his company Nigeria would be top priority.
Mr Won- Ju stressed that he is ready to overcome any challenge that may come in the way of his desire to invest in Abuja.
He told the Minister of FCT that he also has an interest in investing in the oil and Gas sector of the Nigerian economy.
Mrr Won-Ju immediately instructed the Managing Director of the firm in Nigeria to take steps to ensure that his dream of investing in Abuja is realized.
