APC Chieftain Congratulates Ododo, Lauds INEC

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kogi state, Alh. Abubakar Yusuf has congratulated the Kogi State governor-elect, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, and his deputy Comrade Joel Oyibo, on their landslide victory in the governorship election.

This is contained in a congratulatory message signed by his Media Team.

The statement describes Alh. Ododo’s election as well deserved and a victory for all Kogites.

According to the statement, the victory which is a reflection of the voice of the people, calls for support for Ododo’s administration to meet the yearnings and expectations of the people.

Your victory is a victory for all Kogites irrespective of political affiliation as it shows that the hand of the God Almighty is truly in our dear state”.

It says the party chieftain also commends the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for its unbiased and peaceful conduct of the elections.

The Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) has indeed made the people build more confidence in INEC”.

“I congratulate Kogites electorate, who worked hard to achieve the landslide victory at the poll and also commend the APC leadership in the state, elders, stakeholders, women and youths for the display of strong commitment to the struggle.”

The statement notes that despite the turbulent terrain and charged political atmosphere, the people conducted themselves peacefully and earned the desired results of consolidating on the achievements of the present administration.

“I wish your administration the best of leadership and pray that the Almighty God grants you and the entire team more wisdom, strength, and guidance to deliver on your promises.’’
