Former Chief of staff to the Imo State Government, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu has appealed to the organized labour to call off the industrial action in the state to reduce hardship experienced by citizens.
He made the call in an Interview with Journalists Owerri, Imo state.
Ugwumba Nwosu frowned at the black out being experienced and its effect on the cost of goods and services on residents.
He stated that other avenues would have been adopted by the unions to seek redress as the strike has negatively affected the workers whose interest were being protected.
“Peaceful resolution is the best option for the labour, Police and State Government disputes”.
On the November 11th governorship election in Imo state, the Former Chief of Staff also reaffirmed that the APC will win.
“Nothing will stop this election from holding. The masses are very ready, let us wait till Saturday and see the decision of the people.”
He further called on eligible voters to come out enmasse on saturday to elect the candidate of their choice.
