Reps Confirm Service Chiefs

The House of Representatives has confirmed the appointment of the Chief of Defence Staff and Service Chiefs as requested by President Bola Tinubu.

The confirmation followed the consideration of the report of the ad hoc committee that screened the appointees.

The House confirmed Major-General Christopher Gwabin Musa as Chief of Defence Staff, Major-General Taoheed Abiodun Lagbaja as Chief of Army Staff, Rear Admiral Emmanuel lkechukwu Ogalla as Chief of Naval Staff and Air Vice Marshal Hassan Bala Abubakar as Chief of Air Staff.

The House Committee had on Monday screened the four appointees following the request forwarded to the House by the President.
