Key Into 3rd Party Motor Insurance Policy – Stakeholders

Motorists have been advised to key into the benefits of compensation for specified loss or damage in the Third Party Motor Insurance policy.

Stakeholders in the Insurance industry gave the advice when they
took a sensitization campaign to motorists and car owners across the Federal Capital Territory on the benefits of Third Party Motor Insurance policy.

Speaking during the Road Show, a Director with the Legal Aid Council, Latifat Salau, said the Council was available to help motorists interface with insurance companies to claim the benefits of their Insurance policy either to repair the vehicle or treat the body injuries sustained in the event of accidents.

Speaking during the road show, the President Oneworld Initiative for sustainable development, Mr. Timothy Achany  said the initiative became imperative considering the fact that most motorists are not aware of the benefits of this insurance policy, which explains the reason for its low enrolment.

Achanya who urged motorists to seek the full benefits of the policy said the policy
was more than just a pass which enables motorists to ply the road.
