In realisation of his objectives for rural development, the Executive Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Hon. Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, has appealed to AMAC communities for total cooperation.
This is contained in a statement by the senior special assistant on media and publicity Mr Kingsley Madaki
According to the statement the Amac Boss promises that no community will be left behind in his development agenda, and appealed to affected families in the ongoing road construction to give way for overall development.
It says Maikalangu, expressed joy over the progress made so far in the ongoing road projects across AMAC communities and urged them to cooperate with the council and construction workers towards ensuring that communities get access to better roads.
It adds that the Council Boss revealed that his administration has embarked on massive road construction and other projects going on in different communities.
It stresses that the projects,when completed, will boost socio–economic development of the communities, noting that residents must allow contractors have access to projects in the various communities.
The statement,appeals to residents of the different communities under AMAC to show understanding and cooperate with with the team in the ongoing projects adding that it was heartbroken to learn from the engineers that some houses will be affected in some communities
It also calls on residents to be optimistic for a better AMAC by supporting his administration as no community will be left behind in the development agenda
The statement however urged residents on the need for regular payment of taxes as to also encourage his administration to do more for residents to improve the living standard of all residents
